| Details: Specific Responsibilities: - Manage the external financial reporting process, which involves a global cross functional team. Prepare the external financial statements and related disclosures.
- Prepare the company's SEC filings. Responsible for assessing new SEC/GAAP pronouncements and preparing technical memos
- Prepare monthly/quarterly close schedules. Prepare and submit on a timely basis all statutory financial filings to the SEC (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc… ), and manage the review process including coordination with the external auditors
- Proactively research technical accounting and reporting matters and stay abreast of pending changes in relevant technical guidance. Analyze potential impact on the company and conduct periodic training sessions for the global finance team.
- Assist with writing, implementing and maintaining corporate accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with global finance organization to ensure consistent and accurate implementation of accounting policies, particularly for complex US GAAP matters.
- Participates in both formal and informal business unit operating reviews to ensure financial statement disclosures are complete and accurate.
- Review subsidiary closing packages for completeness, accuracy and unusual items.
- Ensure Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance over the consolidation and financial reporting processes.
- Participate in special projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations and other projects as assigned.

| Skills Required: Knowledge, Skills & Experience: CPA with a minimum of seven years of experience in Big “4” public accounting and/or external reporting for a large global operations in excess of $500 million. Expertise in US GAAP, SEC and PCAOB regulations, specifically in the areas of business combinations, restructuring, stock-based compensation, derivatives, pensions, and variable interest entities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. You must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of a global organization. Track record of successful project management. Able to clearly and concisely document technical accounting and reporting matters and effectively communicate complex accounting issues to non-financial people at different levels (both senior and junior to this role). Ability to coach, mentor and develop the financial staff to exceed and excel Enjoys working with a diverse, global finance team. Respectfully and steadfastly adheres to the highest standards of business ethics. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Windows experience required. Oracle and/or Hyperion experience desired.
