| Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant | | Job Code: DOW-070 | | Salary: $80k - $90k |

Details: Responsibilities:
Manage the tax compliance process for US Federal and State income tax returns and property tax returns in conjunction with the third party service providers.
Prepare clean, complete and systematic work papers sufficient to support all tax returns, entries, positions and inquires form federal, state and local taxing authorities.
Research tax issues and prepare detailed file notes.
Ensure that company complies with periodic tax payment, information reporting, and other taxing authority requirements.
Advise management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
Update company calculations of earning and profits, depreciation, amortization, tax inventory and tax basis balance sheet accounts.
Improve and integrate computer application to company tax compliance procedures.
Responsible for tax audits including research and negotiations with federal and state authorities.
Maintain files to support research associated with tax audits. Document the tax impact and risks for FIN 48 compliance
Requirements:
Skilled in providing an exceptional customer experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills in a clear and concise manner to employees in all areas.
Knowledge to synthesize complex financial information into coherent documents
Knowledge of PC applications and Oracle accounting system.
Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
Ability to work in a time critical environment
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years related experience.
